Las Vegas is a very popular retirement city providing a healthy climate and favorable conditions for active adults. Some of the more popular age-restricted communities include:

• Allure (high-rise) - Allure offers 5 high speed elevators, private library, valet service, private wine cellar, dry cleaners, state-of-the-art fitness facility, 24 hour doorman, club room with kitchen and concierge service. $$$$$
• Ardiente Seven single-story home models ranging from 1400 to 1975 square feet. Located in MLS area 103.
• Beverly Green (co-op apartments) - constructed in 1957. Mostly retired folks but limited only to age 14 and up. $$
• Duck Creek Village - An owner-occupied village offering a clubhouse and pool. MLS area 302.
• Lakeside Village (townhouse) The association maintains your front yard in this single-story gated community. Homes were built in 1989-90. MLS area 403.
• Los Prados (golf community) - This live-guard-gated golf course community began construction in the late1980's and continued through the 90's. Sections of Los Prados are age-restricted and homes are moderately priced. See MLS area 102.
• Promenade at the Meadows (townhomes and single-family homes) - This guard-gated community features a clubhouse, exercise room and pool. Located near the Meadows Mall. Homes were constructed in 1989-90. Moderate prices in area 402.
• Quail Estates (townhouse / condos) - Modest priced homes in a central location. These guard-gated homes were built in 1989-90 and are located in MLS area 501.
• Rancho Las Brisas - Constructed by Pardee Homes in the early 1990's this community consists of a variety of one and two story homes ranging in square footage from 1188 to 1893. Located across the street from the prestigious Spanish Trail (area 503).
• Royal Crest Circle (condos) - A well established selection of low and mid-rise condos in a central location close to shopping, hospital and the strip (MLS area 301). Built in 1976.
• Royal Ridge (manufactured homes) - Located in the Tropicana / Decatur area. An older established gated community with clubhouse and pool. $$
• Silver Canyon (condos) - Built in 1987-88 this community has a clubhouse and pool. $
• Silver Springs - A Signature Homes development built in 2002 featuring one and two bedroom single-story homes. MLS area 204.
• Solera at Anthem - Five single-story models from 1140 to 1771 square feet. Located in MLS area 606 Henderson. Builder is Del Webb.
• Solera at Stallion Mountain - Five single-story models from 1155 to 1716 square feet. Located in MLS area 204. The builder is Del Webb.
• Sun City Aliante - A variety of single-story homes by Del Webb. Modestly priced.
• Sun City Anthem - Premium Del Webb golf course community. $$$
• Sun City MacDonald Ranch
• Sun City Summerlin - The first "Sun City" mostly single-story homes constructed in the 1990's. Plenty of golf in this matured community.
• Sun Colony Siena - Truly an active-adult community located at the south end of Summerlin. Plenty of exercise facilities and golf.
• Terra Bela (condos) - A Westmark condo development featuring five models ranging from 1428 to 2207 square feet of living area. $$$
